Time to set some new goals for February, even though I have now been approved. It can't hurt to get even healthier, right? Plus, I still need to lose these last three pounds. The losing is getting more difficult, especially with these crazy cycles I am experiencing, but I can do it! For February...
- set weekly walking/jogging goals (less focus on strength training for now)
- make wise food decisions - try to eat more cleanly
- more water (this will always be huge)
- weigh in on Wednesdays and post my progress
- be MINDFUL
To keep myself on track, I am going to put these out there now for my weigh ins:

February 5 - 196 (praying this is due to my period)

One step at a time - if I can focus on these things for this month, I can see what else needs to be implemented moving forward. It is a new year! So time for new goals! My unspoken goal was to be at 200 pounds by January 1. I am not, but I am not going to let that defeat me. 204 as of 1.1.2020 and I have 14 pounds left to lose before the party can really get started!

So, I did ABSOLUTELY awful updating this last month. That said, I hit all of my mileage goals and lost 11 pounds. Here's to dropping more in February!

12.19.2019 - 2 miles bright and early before we head to nova! (12.5 for the month and 12 for the week).
12.18.2019 - Bethany and I chatted about another weekly goal. We know this is a tough week, but I have set a goal for 18 miles over the next week (Wednesday through Tuesday). Weighed in this morning - 206! Lost two. Walked three miles early and went back for one more. (14.5 to go for the month and 14 for the week)
12.17.2019 - adding to the weekly goal - 2 miles done! 23 total miles for the week!! (18.5 to go for the month).
12.16.2019 - two trips to the gym since I am off today 3 miles total (20.5/+1) HIT THE WEEKLY GOAL!
12.15.2019 - took an afternoon walk outside, getting two miles in! (23.5/2)
12.14.2019 - Went to the gym with Gregory this morning. Did two miles, had ten minutes in the sauna and then did another mile! (25.5/4)
12.13.2019 - 3 miles before work and then took a lunch break and got 2 more in! (28.5/7)
12.12.2019 - 2 miles inside before work and 2 miles outside after work (33.5 for the month and 12 for the week)!
12.11.2019 - Only lost 1 more pound this week. I've got to get better with my goals! Bethany and I decided we would both get 20 miles in over the next week - Wednesday to Tuesday. 2 miles before work and 2 after (37.5 to go for the month and 16 for the week).

11.28.2019 - Gregory and I were stewing this morning so we baked a batch of cookies that we could deliver via a walk. Got one mile in! (+1)
11.27.2019 - 1 mile and loss of 4 pounds! (reached the goal!!)
11.26.2019 - got back in for 2 miles early this morning! (1 more to go)
11.25.2019 - 3 miles this morning! (3 more for the month)
11.23.2019 - 2 miles, a few minutes in the sauna, and went back for one more!! (6 to go)

11.21.2019 - I slept in this morning - felt bad about it but I had a plan. Went home and walked the Chesapeake Nature Trail (now it is Warhani or something like that I believe). Got 1.5 done. (11 more)
11.20.2019 - got two miles in. The best part is that I am down 3 more points! 214 as of today! (12.5 to go for the month)
11.19.2019 - Gregory got up before me so I knew my window was small at the gym. I did go in and do one quick mile before having to get back and get ready for work. (14.5 to go!)
11.18.2019 - I am feeling really sluggish and exhausted, but I did one mile this morning and went back for 1.5 more after work. Total of 2.5 for the day. (15.5 to go this month)!
11.15.2019 - got in 2 miles bright and early! I had a meeting cancel and went back and got one more in. (18 more)
11.14.2019 - 3 miles this morning! (21 more)
11.13.2019 - WEIGH IN WEDNESDAY! Down 2 more pounds - at 217! Completed one mile on the treadmill. (23 more).
11.12.2019 - 1.5 before work and another 1.5 after work. (24 more).
11.11.2019 - did two miles at the gym this morning. It is a teacher work day so I am off and went back to the gym to drop the kids off at the child care there and headed back out and completed 3 miles outside - 5 miles today! (27 to go)
11.9.2019 - thanks to my parents I was able to walk around my cousin's neighborhood outside of Baltimore - got 2 miles done! (32 more)
11.8.2019 - busy day! I went to the gym with big intentions. My thigh muscle started bothering me so I slowed way down and only completed one mile. I got on the roller to try and loosen it up a little bit - boy did it hurt. I am off today so I decided to go on a trail to get more miles in. I went to Cold Harbor Park and got 2 more miles. Then, I wasn't satisfied, so I went to Rural Plains Park and did 2.5 more miles. Both were cold and I am tired, but I am happy! 5.5 total today! (34 more to go)
11.7.2019 - 2.5 miles at the gym! (39.5 more)
11.6.2019 - 1 mile this morning - lost 1 more pound! (42 to go)
11.5.2019 - busy day on the exercise front - I walked 2 miles at the gym early, walked to the polls in the middle of the day (.5) and then did another 1.5 outside before going to pick up the kids. 4 in total! 39 more to go this month!
11.4.2019 - up and at 'em early - got in 3! (43 to go)
11.3.2019 - met my sister in law and incorporated a nice walk into that. I got there early to scope out the terrain and get a little head start. Total, it was 2.5! (46 more!)
11.2.2019 - walked 1 mile this morning before having to poop twice. Called it quits, which is difficult because I had hoped to make a bigger impact on my goal this morning. Walked a good bit at Train Day in Ashland, but I am not going to count that. Ended up heading out for a walk after the kids went to bed and did 2.5 more miles! (48.5 more)

10.22.2019 - did one mile this morning (month is complete with 8 days to go!!!) And, I made my week's goal of 18 with 18.5)!! Down 3 more pounds! Monthly mileage goal is complete - let's see how far I can surpass it!
10.21.2019 - went in and walked 3 miles! (1 more for the month!!)
10.20.2019 - got into the gym for a quick mile today. The weather wasn't conducive to anything outside and Jacob let me steal away the time. (4 miles to go for the month - and 10 days left - woohooo!)
10.19.2019 - to meet my high weekly goal for mileage, I went into the gym and got 2 miles done. When I got home, Jacob asked if we could go for a walk to the playground for the kids. Another 2 miles completed!!! (5 more to go!)
10.18.2019 - Walked 3 miles at the gym this morning! Feeling a bit sore today! (9 more for the month).
10.17.2019 - 2 miles this morning - felt good. Might even go back after work again! (12 to go this month!) I did it! Went back and did my fastest two miles yet! (10 to go this month, which will be surpassed this week as I set a lofty weekly goal to make better progress!)
10.16.2019 - down 1 pound! Shew, if I hadn't eaten so horribly this weekend, maybe I could have knocked another out. Not going to be upset - progress is progress! Did 1 mile this morning (15.5 to go!). Felt like I needed to do more - went back for round two after work. Did 1.5 more (14 to go this month!)

10.14.2019 - after a weekend of NO dedicated exercise and truly the worst eating I have done in months (yeah, it was bad), I had to get back in gear. Got 3 REAL miles in today! Shew, finally, I did it! (17.5 to go!)
10.10.2019 - I was so excited this morning - I went to the gym determined to do three miles and I did it! Or, so I thought. Well, I tried to pause in the middle to refill my water bottle and ended up hitting Stop instead of Pause. So, I did the math in my head and was really proud when I hit 3 miles!! Then, I started thinking about it. 2.19+.41 does NOT equal three. Well, my mind is exhausted, but I can safely say I got 2.5 for today! (20.5 to go!)

10.6.2019 - Gregory and I took a 2.5 mile walk through the neighborhoods. It felt great, even though he was asking when we would be done with only 10 minutes in. (28.5 to go in October).
10.4.2019 - Went to the gym early and did only one mile. I had the morning off to be with Meade as she recovers from whatever illness she had. So, together, we went for a 2 mile walk around the new neighborhood - it was really nice (31 to go)!
10.3.2019 - Didn't get into the gym this morning, but did go out and do a mile walk in the evening to get something done (33 to go!).
10.2.2019 - LOST 3 MORE POUNDS!!! At 229 now. Didn't feel like I would ever get under 230, but it just takes time! I have to be more patient. Got two miles done early this morning! (34 to go this month!)
10.1.2019 - only got one mile in this morning. I can't kill it everyday - there is always tomorrow! (36 to go!)

9.28.2019 - I went to the gym and did one mile at 9 incline. My arms will be sore from holding the bars! Then, the kids and I went for a walk - Gregory walked with me and Meade was in the stroller. While we walked 40 minutes, it was probably a mile or so. (+5)
9.27.2019 - 2 miles with some incline. (+3)
9.26.2019 - 1 mile in the morning. (+1)
9.25.2019 UPDATE - I got to the gym and did 1.5 miles on an incline. My goal for September is met! However, I will keep trucking along. Best part of it all is that the scale showed a loss of 2 pounds last week!!!!! Woohoo!
9.25.2019 - a little disappointed with myself, I just couldn't get out of bed when my alarm went off at 420. I am PROMISING myself I will go this afternoon!
9.24.2019 - I went to bed super late (for me) last night, but got up with no problem today and knocked out 2 miles - not the fastest, but I am quite okay with that! (1.5 to go)
9.23.2019 - PM. I knew I didn't do enough yesterday, so I went back after work and did 1.5 (3.5 to go).
9.23.2019 - I sure did not want to get out of bed this morning! Struggled to finish one mile. Maybe I will get another in later. (5 to go!)
9.21.2019 - wasn't planning on exercising, but pulling an anchor up, twice has my upper body pretty sore - a good sore!
9.20.2019 - walked 2 this am and it was the fastest I had done it yet! (6 to go)!

9.18.2019 - preparing for a big day - 2.5 miles! (10 more to go for September). Also, I weighed in this morning. It is not my typical time, but I did it so I would have an idea before I met with B's doctor. 1 more pound down!!!

9.16.2019 - this past weekend was rough. I didn't do any focused exercise. This morning, I still couldn't focus, but got one mile in. After the kids went to bed, I went back and got the second this evening. Proud, but tired. (13.5 more)!

9.12.2019 - Struggled this morning, but did get into the gym and walk one mile (18 to go). Maybe, just maybe I will try to get another mile in later today. We shall see!
9.11.2019 - Walked 2 miles this afternoon (19 to go), after I weighed in! Happy to report, the hard work last week has allowed me to lose four pounds and .7 BMI points!
9.10.2019 - Trying to figure out the routine of working out in the morning when I have to go to the office. 1.5 miles this morning (21 to go!).
9.9.2019 - Started the day off right with a quick trip to the gym. 2 more miles down (22.5 to go this month!).
9.7.2019 - Gregory and I went for a 22 minute walk in the afternoon. Not sure how much mileage we got, but I am saying it was a mile (24.5 to go!). It was nice to include him in on this journey!
9.6.2019 - Two miles at 5 am, boy did that feel good! (25.5 to go!)
9.5.2019 - Walked 1.5 miles. Hoped for more but wanted to quit early. I'll take this as progress no matter what (27.5 to go)!
9.4.2019 - We all know that scales can be calibrated differently. That said, I am happy to report that at my OBGYN appointment two weeks ago, I weighed in at 244. Today, at the gym, I am at 239. Another important thing to note, although pointing out that it has been quite some time since I have been to the gym, is this is the first time I have weighed in on this scale (since we joined Burkwood) where I can start with the 200 instead of the 250! That felt good!! Still a lot of work to do, but I can get there. Any little loss is progress! Did pretty good with my goals today (so far). 2 miles down (28 to go)! I will continue to weigh in at the gym for consistency and will try to do so every Wednesday!
9.3.2019 - If there has ever been a time to devote everything I have to weight loss, the time is now. I am determined to continue to lose, little by little, getting to the proper BMI to make my candidacy of a gestational carrier come to life.
